کہتے ہیں جو جس کی قسمت میں ہے اس کو وہی ملتا ہے
Kehte hain jo jis ki qismat mein hai usko wohi milta hai
They say that one receives only what is written in destiny.

ورنہ ڈھونڈنے سے خدا بھی اس کو ملتا ہے
Warna dhoondhne se Khuda bhi usko milta hai
Otherwise, through sincere seeking, even God can be found.

مایوسی خالق سے ہے، دانا، ایک ناداں کی فکر
Mayusi Khaliq se hai, dana, ek nadaan ki fikr
Despair in the Creator, O wise one, is the thinking of the ignorant.

در حقیقت وہی رب ہے جو ہر شے کا حساب لکھتا ہے
Darhaqeeqat wahi Rab hai jo har shaiy ka hisaab likhta hai
In truth, it is that very Lord who measures and determines all accounts.

مایوسی خالق سے اے صاحبِ خرد، فکرِ ناداں ہے
Mayusi Khaliq se ae sahib-e-khirad, fikr-e-nadaan hai
Despair in the Creator, O wise one, is the thinking of the ignorant.

وہی رب ہے جس کی حکومت میں حساب و حشر کا میدان ہے
Wohi Rab hai jis ki hukoomat mein hisaab o hashr ka maidan hai
It is that very Lord under whose dominion lies the field of judgment and resurrection.

تقدیر بھی جھکتی ہے یقین کے سامنے
Taqdeer bhi jhukti hai yaqeen ke saamnay
Even destiny bows before unwavering faith.

جو ڈھونڈ لے خودی کا راز، اُس پر کرمِ یزداں ہے
Jo dhoond lay khudi ka raaz, us par karam-e-Yazdaan hai
Whoever discovers the secret of the self receives Divine grace.
