whom am I? میں کون ہوں

میں تو وہ ہوں اپنے کو نہ جانا اب تک

Mein tow woh huin apney ko na Jaana abtak

I am that one unknown to myself yet

میں تو ہر رنگ میں تراب کا دانا لگتا ہوں

Mein tow har rang mein turab ka   Dana lagta huin

I look like I am an earthly pearl of wisdom in every color.

یہ داستاں میری ہے یا تیری ہے کہاں سے کہاں تک

Yeh dastan meri hai ya teri hai kahan se kahan tak

Is this story mine or yours from where it starts and where, upto?

میں تو اپنوں کو اَصحابِ الکَہف کا  دیوانہ لگتا ہوں

Mein tow apno ko ashab e kehef ka diwana lagta huin

I think my beloved feels that I am ancient crazy of cave .

میں تو خود کو ڈھونڈتا ہوں نہ ڈھونڈ پایا اب تک

Mein tow khud ko na dundh paya ab tak

I am exploring myself, but I am not able to find myself yet

زمانہ مجھ کو میں زمانے کو بیگانہ لگتا ہوں

Zamana mujh ko mein zamaney ko begana lagta huin

Time finds me strange. I say time is strange
