Muhammad Madani ummat ke iLm ka shahar aur kashti nijaat hai

Muhammad al-Madani is the city of knowledge and the ship of the salvation of the Ummah

 

وہ جو کبھی الأزهر اور کبھی علی گڑھ یونیورسٹی کی کرتے بات ہیں

Woh jo Kabhi Al Azhar aur kabhi Aligarh universities ki kartey baat thein

Those who sometimes talk about Al-Azhar and sometimes Aligarh University

 

وہ علم سے کرہیں محبت اور برائی سے برات ہے

Woh Ilm se kartey hain mohabat aur burayi se baraat hai

They love knowledge and abstains from evil

 

یہ میراث سید احمد کی ہے نہیں معمولی بات ہے

Yeh miraas Syed Ahmed ki hai nahi maamuli baat hai

This legacy belongs to Syed Ahmed and is not insignificant

 

دانا خود نبی کو ُمی کہنا کیسی احمقانہ بات ہے

Dana khud Nabi ko ummi kehna kesi ahmqana baat hai

What a silly thing O’ prudent man to say Prophet an uneducated man yourself?

 

جس کا استاد اللہ کتاب قرآن اور وہ جو کہتا ہے وہ اللہ کے کلمات ہیں

Jis ka ustad Allah Kitab Quran aur jo kehta hai woh Allah ke Kalmaat  hai

His teacher is God, the book is Qur'an and whatever he says are the words of Allah
