سلمانؓ: راہِ وفا کا مسافرِ عجم- Salman Rah wafa ka musafir Ajam: The Persian Seeker on the Path of Faith
فرزندِ اصفہان، شانِ عجم
کیسا کیا ہے تو نے ہم پر کرم
Farzand-e-Isfahan, shaan-e-Ajam
Kaisa kiya hai tu ne hum par karam
Child of Isfahan, pride of the land,
Such grace you gave us, noble and grand.
سلمان صحابی باوفا عجم
Salman Sahabi ba-wafa Ajam
پیغمبر سے ملنے کو چھوڑا تھا اپنا وطن
Paighambar se milnay ko chhoda tha apna watan
Salman the Persian, faithful and true,
Left his homeland, the Prophet to pursue.
فرزند اصفہان عجم در راہ اسلام
Farzand e Isfiyan ajam dar rah Islam
Ajam dar raah-e-Ajam
عجم در راہ عجم
ڈھونڈا محمد کو عرب میں برائے امن
Dhoonda Muhammad ko Arab mein baraye aman
نہ خلافت کی چاہت تھی نہ تمنا یلغار
محمد کی خوشی سے ملتا تھا قرار
Na khilafat ki chahat thi na tamanna-e-yalghaar
Muhammad ki khushi se milta tha qaraar
صرف محمد کی خوشنودیوں کے تھے وہ طلبگار
Sirf Muhammad ki khushnudi ke thay woh talabgaar
حکم لاتے تھے بجا تھے غیر فرار
Hukum laatay thay baja , thay gair e farar
پیشین گوئی تھی نبی کی
ہوں گے عجم کے مسلمان
Peshin goi thi Nabi ki
hon ge Ajam ke Musalman
They shall be believers from the Persian land,
In faith and truth, they will firmly stand.
A prophecy spoken by the Prophet so wise,
A truth that echoes beneath the skies.
علم و ایمان سے کریں گے ان کی روایتوں کا بیان
Ilm o imaan se karein ge unki riwainton ka bayan
With faith and knowledge, their voices will rise,
Telling Salman’s story is noble and wise.
تعریف فارس ایک پیغام روشن
Tareef e Faras ek paigham e roshan
This promise of the Prophet shines so bright,
Persia’s honor glowing in guiding light.
صحیح بخاری (7099) میں یہ درس ہے نبی کا بیان
Sahih Bukhari (7099) mein yeh dars hai Nabi ka bayan
In Bukhari is recorded the lesson he gave,
A guiding word for the seekers so brave.
علم اگر بلندی پر کرتا ہوگا قیام
Ilm agar bulandi par karta hoga qiyam
If knowledge stands high beyond the sky,
Still it will not remain too far or shy.
ڈھونڈ لیں گے اس کو فارس کے نوجوان
Dhoond lein ge us ko Faris ke naujawan
The youth of Persia will seek and find,
Reaching its heights with heart and mind.

With time, knowledge, and repeated curiosity, new avenues of life opened. Step by step, change and development took place, creating a ladder by which humanity continued to climb toward higher levels of understanding. Practices of the primitive age gradually transformed into new philosophies of human awakening, linked to the growth and refinement of the human mind.
Humanity also passed through ages in which many gods were worshipped. Then came messengers who called people back to the worship of One God. Among them were Moses, greatly revered in Judaism, and Jesus, greatly revered in Christianity. They renewed the call to divine unity and moral responsibility.
Through these stages of spiritual history, the world finally reached Muhammad (peace be upon him), regarded in Islam as the Seal of the Prophets, who completed and confirmed the chain of earlier revelation.
In this journey of seeking truth, there appeared Salman al-Farsi, whose earlier name is commonly given in tradition as Ruzbeh (also rendered Roozbeh or Rouzbeh). He is said to have been the son of a Zoroastrian priest from Isfahan. Driven by a deep desire to discover the true path, he searched through different traditions and lands.
During this quest, he learned that Muhammad had appeared in Arabia, receiving the first revelation around 610 CE. So he traveled there to meet him, and in that meeting found the truth he had long been seeking.
