یہ دست مشقت yeh dast e mashaqat


یہ دست مشقت حقدار یہی ہوتا ہے
Yeh dast e mashaqat haqdar hi hota hai
That's what this manual labor hardship deserves

تین سکوں میں گزارا کہاں ہوتا ہے
Teen sikkon mein guzara kahan hota hai
Where in the world three coins  make ends meet

دانا کے ان ہاتھوں کو مولا تو مبارک کر دے
Dana ke ein haton ko Maula tu Mubarak kar de
O' Lord please bless these hands of prudent man 

تیری شفقت میں کہاں کچھ کم ہوتا ہے
Teri shafqat mein kahan kuch Kam hota hai
Where in this universe anything gets short of your mercy?

دست مبارک پر جو ہیں مشقت کی نشانی
Dast e Mubarak pe jo hein mashqat ki nishani
From the blessed blemished
 hand, which is a sign of hard work

بہتر ان سجدوں سے جو کرے کالا تیری پیشانی
Behtar un sajdon  se jo karey Kala teri peshani
Better than those Saints prostation who blacken your forehead

جس میں ابلیس کا دکھاوا نہیں ہوتا شامل
Jismey Iblees ka dikhawa nahi hota shamil
Which doesn't involve Iblees  pretending worship

نکالا جنت سے اسے جس نے اللہ کی نا مانی
Nikala janat se usey jisney Allah ki na mani
He who disobeyed Allah was expelled from Paradise
