رازِ ہستی اور تلاشِ معرفت ❤️ Raaz-e-Hasti aur Talaash-e-Ma‘rifat
نہ آتا ہے نظر، نہ رکھتا ہے دست و قدم
Na aata hai nazar, na rakhta hai dast o qadam
He cannot be seen, nor does He possess hands or feet.
مگر اُسی کے حکم سے قائم ہیں دل کی دھڑکن اور دم
Magar usi ke hukm se qaim hain dil ki dharkan aur dam
Yet by His command, the breaths of existence continue.
اگر وہ چاہتا رکھتا کوئی چھوٹا یا بڑا سا بدن
Agar woh chahta rakhta koi chhota ya barasa badan
If He had willed, He could have possessed a small or great form.
مگر وہ پاک ذات ہے، نہیں محدود ہے اُس کا چمن
Magar woh paak zaat hai, nahi mahdood hai uska chaman
But He is the Pure Essence, beyond all limits and forms.
وہی ہے جنم داتا، مگر لیتا نہیں وہ جنم
Wohi hai janamdata, magar leta nahin woh janam
He grants birth to all, yet He Himself is never born.
ازل سے ہے وہی باقی، نہ اُس پہ وقت کا ستم
Azal se hai wohi baqi, na us pe waqt ka sitam
From eternity He alone remains, untouched by the tyranny of time.
نہ آتا ہے نظر میں باغباں، نہ اُس کا باغ پن
Na aata hai nazar mein baghban, na us ka baghpan
The Gardener is unseen, nor is His gardening visible.
مگر ہر پھول کی خوشبو میں ہے اُس کے نور کی دلہن
Magar har phool ki khushboo mein hai us ke noor ki dulhun
Yet within every flower’s fragrance echoes the melody of
کر رہی ہے کہکشاں بھی اپنے گردش کے سفر
Kar rahi hai kahkashan bhi apne gardish ke safar
The galaxies continue upon their revolving journey.
زمین بھی قائم ہے اسکی یک مقرر حساب و اثر
Zameen bhi qaim hai uske ek muqarar hisaab o asar
The earth too stands firm by His measure and design.
ستارے اُس کے سجدے میں ہیں، سب حکم بردار
Sitaray us ke sajde mein hain, sab hukm bardaar
The stars bow in prostration to Him, all obedient to His command.
ہوا، فضا، سمندر سب ہیں اُس کے تابعدار
Hawa, faza, samandar sab hain us ke tabedaar
The winds, the skies, and the oceans are all submissive to Him.
وہی ہے رازِ ہستی، وہی آغاز و انجام
Wohi hai raaz-e-hasti, wohi aaghaz o anjaam
He alone is the mystery of existence, the beginning and the end.
اُسی کے نور سے روشن ہیں عرش و فرش کا مقام
Usi ke noor se roshan hain arsh o farsh ka maqam
By His light are all places of the world illuminated.
نہ انکھوں میں سمائے وہ، نہ عقل پا سکے اُس کا کنارہ
Na aankhon mein samaye woh, na aql paa sake uska kinara
No eye can behold Him, nor can intellect reach His boundary.
مگر ہر ذرّے میں پوشیدہ ہے اُس کا اک اشارہ
Magar har zarre mein posheeda hai us ka aik ishara
Yet within every particle lies a hidden sign of Him.
اٹھ اے مردِ مومن! خودی کو پھر بیدار کر
Uth ae mard-e-momin! khudi ko phir bedar kar
Rise, O believer! Awaken your selfhood once more.
اپنی معرفت سے تو اس دل کو سیراب کر
Apni ma‘rifat se tu is dil ko seraab kar
Quench this heart with the knowledge and recognition of Your divine truth.

مخلوقِ آدمؑ میں چھپا تھا اک ازلی راز جس میں
Makhlooq-e-Adam mein chhupa tha aik azali raaz jis mein
Within the creation of Adam was hidden an eternal secret.
حکمِ سجدۂ آدمؑ تھا، فرشتوں سے پوشیدہ تھا راز جس میں
Hukm-e-sajda-e-Adam tha, farishton se posheeda tha raaz jis mein
The command to bow before Adam concealed a mystery unknown to the angels.
ارادہ تھا میزانِ حق و باطل کا اک راز اُس میں
Irada tha meezan-e-Haq o Baatil ka aik raaz us mein
Within it lay the divine design of the balance between truth and falsehood.
محمدؐ سے بہتر نہ بنا سکا وہ کوئی انسان اس خاص جسم میں
Muhammad se behtar na bana saka Woh koi insaan is khaas jism mein
No human could surpass Muhammad within this honored human form.
دکھانا تھا اک تابعدار اور اک خود مختار کا جواز اُس میں
Dikhana tha aik tabedaar aur aik khud-mukhtar ka jawaz us mein
It was to reveal the distinction between the obedient and the self-willed.
خاک میں رکھ کر نورِ ہدایت، عظمتِ انساں دکھانی تھی
Khaak mein rakh kar noor-e-hidayat, azmat-e-insaan dikhani thi
By placing divine light within clay, the greatness of humanity was to be shown.
عشقِ سجدہ میں پوشیدہ رب کی اک پہچان پرانی تھی
Ishq-e-sajda mein posheeda Rabb ki aik pehchaan purani thi
Within the love of prostration was hidden an ancient recognition of the Lord.

فرشتوں کو دکھانا تھا حق اور باطل کا میزان
Farishton ko dikhana tha Haq aur Baatil ka mezan
You wished to show the angels the balance between truth and falsehood.
آدمؑ کو عطا کر کے سجدۂ عشق کا آغاز
Adam ko ata kar ke sajda-e-ishq ka aaghaz
By granting Adam, You began the journey of love through prostration.
جستجو شعور میں دے، علمِ جہاد میں دے فتح
Justuju shu‘oor mein de, ilm-e-jihad mein de fatah
Grant seeking within consciousness, and victory in the struggle for knowledge.
دل کو بنا دے روشن، اپنی خودی کی حقیقت کو بتا
Dil ko bana de roshan, apni khudi ki haqiqat ko bata
Illuminate the heart and grant triumph to the awakened self.
کیسے سمجھ سکے گا یہ نابینا، بصیرت تو کر ہم کو عطا
Kaise samajh sake ga yeh nabina, baseerat tow kar hamko ata
How can the blind perceive unless You bestow true insight?
نورِ حقیقت سے پھر آنکھوں کو دے جلا
Noor-e-haqiqat se phir aankhon ko de jila
Then brighten the eyes with the radiance of Truth.
چاروں سمت نظر آئی تیرا نظارہ اے قدرت
Charon simt nazar aayi tera nazara ae qudrat
In every direction appeared the signs of Your power.
ذرّے ذرّے میں چھپی دیکھی تیری وجہ حکمت
Zarray zarray mein chhupi dekhi teri wajha hikmat
In every particle I witnessed Your hidden wisdom.
صحرا اور گلشن کے افسانوں میں موجود تھا مگر اس کا خالق نہ مل سکا
Sahra aur gulshan ke afsanon
mein maujood tha, magar eiska Khaliq na mil saka
You were surely present in the tales of deserts and gardens, yet no mortal god could ever be found.
ہر شے میں تیرا عکس تھا، پھول تو کھلا مگر راز نہ کھل سکا
Har shay mein tera aks tha, phool tow khila magar raaz na khul saka
Your reflection was within all things, yet the secret remained veiled.
اب تو ہی بتا دے، تیرا تعارف کیا ہے خدا
Ab tu hi bata de, tera taaruf kya hai Khuda
Now You alone must tell me, who are You, O God?
میں تجھ کو ڈھونڈتا رہا، تو ہر سانس میں تھا چھپا
Main tujh ko dhoondta raha, tu har saans mein tha chhupa
I kept searching for myself, while You were hidden within every breath.

ہر ذرّے میں تیرا جلوہ دیکھا، پھر بھی رازِ ہستی کیا ہے
Har zarre mein tera jalwa dekha, phir bhi raaz-e-hasti kya hai
I saw Your reflection in every particle, yet the mystery of existence remains unknown.
کیسے ڈھونڈوں گا میں اپنے رب کو، تو مجھ کو وہ بصیرت دے دے
Kaise dhoondoon ga mein apne Rabb ko, tu mujh ko woh baseerat de de
How shall I seek my Lord? Grant me the vision to find You.
دل کے اندھیروں میں نور اتار، اور حق کی معرفت دے دے
Dil ke andheron mein noor utaar, aur Haq ki ma‘rifat de de
Pour light into the darkness of my heart and bless me with knowledge of Truth.
کیوں بنائی ہے یہ فانی دنیا، کیا پیغام ہمیں سنانا ہے
Kyun banayi hai yeh fani duniya, kya paigham hamein sunana hai
Why did You create this mortal world? What message do You wish to convey?
خود ہی پردہ اٹھا دے مولا، اخر اس راز کا کیا افسانہ ہے
Khud hi parda utha de Maula, aakhir eis raaz ka kiya afsana hai
Lift the veil Yourself, O Lord—what is the secret of eternity?
نہ جسم کا بھید سمجھ آیا، نہ روح کا ملا سراغ
Na jism ka bhed samajh aaya, na rooh ka mila suragh
Neither the mystery of the body nor the trace of the soul could I fully understand.
عجیب تیری ہستی ہے خالق، بتا کیسے روشن ہیں تیرا چراغ
Ajeeb teri hasti hai Khaliq, bata kaise roshan hain tera chiragh
Wondrous is Your existence, O Creator—tell me, by what light does Your lamp shine?
کیا ضرورت پیش آئی فانی دنیا کی کیوں تو نے کیا انتخاب
Kya zaroorat paish aayi fani duniya ki, kuin tuney kiya intikhab
What need arose for this mortal world—was it Your chosen design?
کیا حکمت تھی آدمؑ کو دے کر اس جہاں کی آرزو
Kya hikmat thi Adam ko de kar is jahan ki aarzoo
What wisdom lay in granting Adam the longing for this world?
اس دنیا سے پہلے تھا صرف تابعدار کا جواز
Is duniya se pehle tha sirf tabedaar ka jawaz
Before this world, there existed only the realm of the obedient.
تو ہی بتا اے ربِّ عالم، کیا ہے اس سلسلے کی پیشکش
Tu hi bata ae Rabb-e-Alam, kiya hai eis silsile ki paishkash
Tell me, O Lord of the worlds, what was the purpose of Your new creation?
فرشتوں کو دکھانا تھا کچھ اور تجھ کوکیا ابلیس کو کشمکش
Farishton ko dikhana tha kuch aur tujh ko kiya Iblees ko kashmakash
You wished to show the angels something beyond what they knew.
آدمؑ کے سجدے میں چھپا تھا رازِ انسان کا وجود
Adam ke sajde mein chhupa tha raaz-e-insaan ka wajood
Within the prostration before Adam was hidden the secret of human existence.
اُس کو بھی لینا تھا امتحانِ اطاعت کا، اے مسجود
Us ko bhi lena tha imtihan-e-ita‘at ka, ae masjood
Even though there was to be a test of obedience, O honored one before whom سجود was commanded.
خاک سے اٹھا کر آدمؑ کو خلافتِ انسان کی عطا
Khaak se utha kar Adam ko khilafat-e-insaan ki ata
Raising Adam from dust, He granted humanity the mantle of stewardship.
اور فرشتوں کو بھی انسان کی عظمت دکھانا تھی یزداں کو
Aur farishton ko bhi insaan ki azmat dikha thi Azdaan ko
And You showed even the angels the greatness of humanity.
یہ زندگی فقط سانسوں کا اک چلتا ہوا کاروبار نہیں
Yeh zindagi faqat saanson ka aik chalta hua karobar nahin
This life is not merely the passing trade of breaths.
ہر دل میں تیری پہچان چھپی ہے، یہ دنیا بےکار نہیں
Har dil mein teri pehchaan chhupi hai, yeh duniya bekaar nahin
Your recognition is hidden within every heart; this world is not without purpose.
جو خود کو پہچان لے مولا، وہ تجھ تک آ جاتا ہے
Jo khud ko pehchaan le Maula, woh tujh tak aa jata hai
Whoever comes to know the self, O Lord, ultimately finds the way to You.
تیری معرفت کا دریا پھر دل میں اتر آتا ہے
Teri ma‘rifat ka darya phir dil mein utar aata hai
Then the river of Your divine knowledge flows into the heart.
