ذوالفقار: عدلِ الٰہی کا عکس - Zulfiqar: The Reflection of Divine Justice

تو کیا جانے خاک کی صفات کیا ہے

Tu kiya jaane khaak ki sifaat kiya hai

How could you know what dust contains, what art,

Until you learn what makes Muhammad’s heart.

جب تک نہ جانا محمد کی عظمت کیا ہے

Jab tak na jaana Muhammad ki azmat kiya hai

Till you’ve not known Muhammad’s grand grace,

You’ve missed creation’s shining face.

پوچھتے یہ ہو کہ آدم کی صeورت کیا ہے

Poochhte ye ho ke Aadam ki soorat kiya hai

You ask what Adam’s form may be,

Look to Muhammad, the key you’ll see.

 کرو کہ سجدہ محمد کو دیکھ کے فرشتوں کی قطار

Karo ke sajda Muhammad ko dekh ke farishton ki qataar

Bow down in prostration when you see Muhammad, O angels in line afar.s call. ✨

تب نہ پوچھو گے محمد کی عظمت کیا ہے

Tab na poochho ge Muhammad ki azmat kiya hai

Then ask not what the grandeur of Muhammad might be,

 حکم کے بجا لانے والے کیا جانو حق کی حقیقت کیا ہے

Hukm ke baja laane walay kiya jaano haq ki haqeeqat kiya hai

You who just follow commands, what know you of truth’s decree?

تب تم جانو گے میزان کی حقیقت کیا ہے

Tab tum jaano ge meezan ki haqeeqat kya hai

Then you shall know what the Balance’s secret truly conveys,

✔️ 

حق کے پلڑے کا وزن وہاں بھاری ہوگا

Haq ke palray ka wazan wahan bhaari hoga

The scale of truth will weigh there strong,

Where justice decides the right from wrong.

مادی جسم کا وزن جہاں خالی ہوگا

Maadi jism ka wazan jahan khaali hoga

Where worldly flesh shall lose its might,

Only the soul will bear its light.

تیرا قلب اگر حب خاندانِ محمد سے خالی

Tera qalb agar hub-e-khandan-e-Muhammad se khaali

If your heart lacks love for the Prophet’s line,

Then faith and spirit will not align.

بے وزن صفات وہاں بے ذریہ شفاعت والی ہوگا

Be-wazan sifaat wahan, be-zariya shafaat wali hoga

He who lacks true virtue there, will find no path of intercession’s glow.

ذلیل خوار ہوا آدم سے ہوا میں رسوائی کا شکار

Zaleel khwaar hua Aadam se huwa mein ruswai ka shikaar

Adam made me low by a whisper’s snare,

In the air of shame, a heavy care.

بیٹھ جاؤں گا ہر انسان کے راستے میں بن کے یار

Baith jaoonga har insaan ke raaste mein ban ke yaar

I will sit as a friend on every way,

To guide each soul that’s led astray.

تیرے میزان کی شر کی کسوٹی ہوں گا

Tere meezan ki shar ki kasauti hoonga

I’ll test your scales, expose deceit,

Where truth andTogethergether meet.

تیرا حبیب تیری صفاتوں کی تجوری ہوگا

Tera Habeeb teri sifaaton ki tijori hoga

Thy Beloved shall be thy treasure chest,

Where all divine virtues find their rest.

تہمت فرعون ,کی موسیٰ پر تھی کیا اa یک خونِ انسان

Tehmat Firaun ki Musa par thi, kiya aik khoon-e-insaan

Pharaoh’s blame on Moses fell, for killing man, his tale they tell.

موسیٰ ہوئے بعد میں اپنی غلطی پر پشیمان

Moosa hue baad mein apni ghalti par pashemaa, 

Later Moses wept in pain, repentant heart, remorse in chain.

رب نے بنایا حبیب محمد کو رحمت للعالمین

Rab ne banaya Habib Muhammad ko Rehmat-ul-Alameen

Allah made His beloved Muhammad, mercy for all unseen,

A blessing divine, the world’s serene.

انسانی تہمت سے پرے بنایا ایک اعلی مسلمین

Insani tehmat se pare banaya aik a‘la Muslimeen

Beyond human blame, pure and clean,

He raised him the noblest among all deen.

ضرورت پیش ائی جب محمد کو فرائض نبھانے کا

Zarurat pesh aayi jab Muhammad ko faraiz nibhanay ka

When time required Muhammad’s sacred task to be renewed,

علی کو اللہ نے دیا شرف کردار نبھانے کا

Ali ko Allah ne diya sharaf kirdar nibhanay ka

Then Allah gave that honor to Ali, steadfast and true.

علی نے محمد کے کردار کی با خوبی ادائیگی کی

Ali ne Muhammad ke kirdar ki  khoob adaigi ki

Ali fulfilled the Prophet’s role with grace so bright,

اس طرح ہر وار سے علی کے ذریعے سے حفاظت کی

Is tarah har war se Ali ke zariye se hifazat ki

Thus God preserved His Beloved from every false blight.

ذوالفقار جبرائیل نے دی علی کو اللہ نے محمد کو بچایا

Zulfiqar Jibraeel ne di Ali ko, Allah ne Muhammad ko bachaya

Gabriel gave Zulfiqar to Ali with might, and Allah saved Muhammad in divine light. ✨

قتل ذوالفقار نے کیا علی کو تہمت بچایا

Qatal Zulfiqar ne kiya, Ali ko tehmat se bachaya

Zulfiqar struck falsehood away in the fight, freeing Ali from blame, pure and bright. ⚔️

 

✔️ 

یہ تلوار نہیں عدل کی بولتی زبان تھی

Yeh talwar nahin, adl ki bolti zubaan thi

This was no sword, it spoke the word of right,

The voice of justice shining pure and bright.

با اذنِ الہی دشمنوں کے سروں پر چلتی تھی

Ba izn-e-Ilahi dushmanon ke saron par chalti thi

By Allah’s command, it struck with light,

Felling falsehood in Heaven’s sight.

ظلم کے اندھیرے کو اس کی چمک نے مٹا دیا

Zulm ke andheray ko us ki chamak ne mita diya

The darkness of tyranny, her brilliance swept away,

Justice rose radiant, turning night into day.

حق کس کے ساتھ ہے یہ دشمنوں کو بتا دیا

Haq kis ke saath hai yeh dushmanon ko bata diya

She showed the foes where truth would firmly stay,

And marked the righteous with divine display.

اللہ نے اسے اسلام کا امانت بنا دیا

Allah ne use Islam ka amanat bana diya

Allah made it Islam’s trust divine,

A sacred gift through holy sign.

ذوالفقار نے علی کو حیدر قرار بنا دیا

Zulfiqar ne Ali ko Haidar qarar bana diya

The Zulfiqar made Ali the Lion renowned,

With courage divine and strength unbound.

تاکہ محمد حق کا میزان بنا سکے

Taake Muhammad Haq ka meezan bana sake

So that Muhammad could balance the scales of truth,

And crown the world with eternal proof.

محمد اپنے بھائی کو حق کا فیضان بن سکے

Muhammad apney bhai ko Haq ka faizaan ban sake

Ali, the brother, became the grace of the Right,

Spreading God’s justice, wisdom, and light.

خدا کی رہنمائی کرتی ذوالفقار چلی جب دشمنوں کے سر پر

Khuda ki rehnumai karti Zulfiqar 

chali jab dushmanon ke sar par

When Zulfiqar struck with God’s own light, it blazed upon the foes in fight

جنگجو بھی بھاگ گئے سر پر پیر رکھ کر

Jangju bhi bhaag gaye sar par payre rakh kar

Even warriors fled in despair, when Ali advanced without a care

بت کو توڑا کعبے میں دوش محمد پر چڑھ کے علی نے

But ko tora Ka’be mein dosh-e-Muhammad par charh ke Ali ne

Upon Muhammad’s shoulder, he broke idols by God’s will.

درِ خیبر کو توڑ کے پل بنایا علی نے

Dar-e-Khyber ko toṛ ke pul banaya Ali ne

Ali broke the gate of Khyber’s — and made it a bridge for all.

تلوار ہاتھ میں علی کے اشارے الہی پر چلتی تھی

Talwar haath mein Ali ke, ishaare ilahi par chalti thi

Ali’s sword moved only by divine decree’s call,

 نسلوں میں اگر کوئی مومن تو قتل نہیں کرتی تھی

Naslon mein dekhti thi agar mo’min to qatl nahin karti thi

It spared every believer — it struck only the cruel to fall.

سر قلم کیا دشمنوں کا ذوالفقار سے علی نے

Sar qalam kiya dushmanon ka Zulfiqar se Ali ne

With Zulfiqar, Ali made the tyrants’ heads bow low,

بت کو توڑا کعبے میں دوش محمد پر علی نے

But ko tora Ka’be mein dosh-e-Muhammad par Ali ne

And on the Prophet’s shoulder, crushed falsehood’s shadow.

تبھی تو کہتے تھے ظالم کربلا میں

Tabhi to kehte the zalim Karbala mein

Thus the tyrants cried in Karbala’s sand and flame,

لیا اپنے بزرگوں کا انتقام کربلا میں

Liya apne buzurgon ka inteqaam Karbala mein

He avenged his elders — yet upheld Allah’s name.

محمد کو بچایا تہمت سے حیدر قرار دے کے

Muhammad ko bachaya tehmat se Haidar-e-Qarar de ke

He saved Muhammad from slander’s spiteful fight,

علی کو بچایا تہمت سے ذوالفقار دے کے

Ali ko bachaya tehmat se Zulfiqar de ke

And shielded Ali with Zulfiqar — the sword of divine light.

عدل پہ قائم ہوگی دنیا میں بنے گا ایک نیا نظام

Adl pe qaim hogi duniya mein, banega aik naya nizaam

Justice will prevail — a new world order will rise in time,

حبیب میرا محمد کریں گے قائم اسلامی ایک انتظام

Habib mera Muhammad karenge qaim Islami aik intizaam

My Beloved Muhammad will lead the faithful in divine rhyme.

دونوں کے درمیان تھا شرکت داری کا فہم

Dono ke darmiyan tha shirkat-daari ka fahm

Between them was shared the wisdom of divine command,

جنت تھی اس ساجداری سے خوب تھی بافہم

Jannat thi is saajdaari se khoob thi ba-fahm

And Paradise blossomed from that sacred band.

محمد نے دیا علی کو احکامِ الٰہی کا حکومتی نامہ

Muhammad ne diya Ali ko ahkaam-e-Ilahi ka hukoomati nama

Muhammad gave to Ali divine command’s decree,

A letter of rule from Heaven’s authority.

علی نے قائم کیا اسلام کو، دیا ایک عملی نامہ

Ali ne qaim kiya Islam ko, diya aik amali nama

Ali upheld Islam with deeds sublime,

He gave it a charter, a code through time.

بنا دی اللہ نے علی اور محمد سے کشتی نجات کا کنارہ

Bana di Allah ne Ali aur Muhammad se kashti-e-nijaat ka kinara

Allah made with Ali and Muhammad the shore of salvation’s harbor

دکھا دیا اللہ نے بذرے اہل بیت اپنی صفات کا سہارا

Dikha diya Allah ne bazriye Ahl-e-Bait apni sifaat ka sahara

Through the Ahl-e-Bait, Allah displayed the crown of His virtues’ era

عیدِ غدیر میں حق کا کامل ہونا

Eid-e-Ghadeer mein Haq ka kaamil hona

On Eid-e-Ghadeer, truth reached completion and perfection,

A moment divine, fulfilling divine direction.

محمد کا ہاتھ حق کے ہاتھ میں علی کا شامل ہونا

Muhammad ka haath Haq ke haath mein Ali ka shaamil hona

When Ali’s hand joined the Prophet’s in celestial connection,

It sealed the faith with divine protection.

دے دیا پیغام الہی کا جو انہیں دینا تھا

De diya paighaam-e-Ilahi ka jo unhein dena tha

The message divine, the Prophet had to proclaim,

Delivered with truth in Allah’s name.

علی کا ہاتھ اٹھا کے حاجیوں سے یہ کہنا تھا

Ali ka haath utha ke haajiyon se yeh kehna tha

Raising Ali’s hand, the Prophet declared for all to hear,

Words of eternal truth, resounding clear:

جس کا میں مولا اس کا علی دونوں جہاں کا مولا

Jis ka main Maula, uska Ali dono jahan ka Maula

Whosoever I am master of, Ali is his guide and protector,

Maula of both worlds, Allah’s chosen reflector.

حق اس کے ساتھ ہے جو عدل کا حامی اور شجاعت کا ہے مولا

Haq us ke saath hai jo adl ka haami aur shujaat ka haye Maula

Truth walks beside the just and the brave defender,

Ali, the mirror of Haq, the faith’s contender.

کچھ سال کی مشقت سے محمد نے بدل دیا عرب کا منظر

Kuch saal ki mushakkat se Muhammad ne badal diya Arab ka manzar

Through years of struggle, Muhammad changed Arabia’s face,

From ignorance to light, from chaos to grace.

نئے مسلمان بھی کہنے لگے مبارک ہو علی ہے حق کا مظہر

Naye Musalman bhi kehne lage: Mubarak ho, Ali hai Haq ka mazhar

New believers cried, “Blessed be this day so rare!”

For Ali is the reflection of truth beyond compare!

نورِ الہی اور ظہورِ مہدیؑ:

نور الہی ہوگا مکمل مہدی کے ظہور سے

Noor-e-Ilahi hoga mukammal Mehdi ke zuhoor se

This same Divine Light shall spread once more,

When Mehdi returns to end all war.

 (Qur’an 24:35)“Allāh is the Light of the heavens and the earth.”

Imam Ali (a.s.): “The earth will be filled with justice as it was filled with tyranny.” (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 138)

عدل کا پرچم ہوگا اوپر بدلے گا اندھیرا نور سے

Adl ka parcham hoga oopar, badlay ga andhera noor se

Raising the flag of justice high,

He’ll cleanse the earth and clear the sky.

 (Qur’an 57:25) “We sent the prophets with clear proofs and the Book, that mankind may uphold justice.”

Imam Ali (a.s.): “Justice is the foundation upon which the world stands.” (Nahjul Balagha, Saying 437)

با اذنِ الہی عیسیٰ کا پھر سے ظہور ہوگا

Ba izn-e-Ilahi Isa ka phir se zuhoor hoga

When Jesus descends by His Lord’s decree,

Truth and mercy will reign eternally.

(Qur’an 4:159) “And there is none of the People of the Book but will believe in Jesus before his death.”

 Imam Ali (a.s.): “Truth shall prevail, though few uphold it.” (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 50)

نور الہی سے زمین کا روشن نظارہ ہوگا

Noor-e-Ilahi se zameen ka roshan nazara hoga

The Divine Light will shine again so bright,

Guiding mankind from darkness to light.

 (Qur’an 61:8–9) “They wish to extinguish the Light of Allah, but Allah will perfect His Light.”

 Imam Ali (a.s.): “The lamp of faith glows in the heart of the believer.” (Nahjul Balagha, Saying 133)

حق کی صدا جب گونجے گی سکوت میں زمانہ ہوگا

Haq ki sada jab goonjay gi, sukoot mein zamana hoga

The cry of Truth shall echo from the sacred place,

Uniting the faithful in divine embrace.

(Qur’an 17:81) “And say: Truth has come, and falsehood has vanished.”

 Imam Ali (a.s.): “When the standard of truth is raised, the people of falsehood shall tremble.” (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 182)

ہر منکر کا اس دن ایک برا زمانہ ہوگا

Har munkir ka us din aik bura zamana hoga

For every denier, that day shall be dire,

When Truth ascends and falsehood expires.

Ali was protected from falsehood by Zulfiqar, the sword of divine light, a shield that marked the strength of truth. Justice will ultimately prevail, establishing a new order guided by righteousness. The beloved Prophet Muhammad would implement a divinely ordained system, leading the faithful with wisdom and divine insight. Between Muhammad and Ali existed a profound bond of shared responsibility, from which emerged harmony and order, like Paradise manifesting on earth. Muhammad entrusted Ali with governance founded on justice, courage, and faith, ensuring that the light of truth would endure across generations.

Ali was protected from false accusations by being given Zulfiqar, the sword of divine light, a shield that marked the strength of truth.

Justice would ultimately prevail, and a new order would rise in the world, guided by righteousness. The beloved Prophet Muhammad would establish a divinely ordained system, leading the faithful with wisdom and divine guidance.

Between Muhammad and Ali was a profound understanding of shared responsibility. From this partnership, a harmonious order blossomed, like Paradise itself emerging from unity and insight.

Muhammad entrusted Ali with the governance based on divine commandments, granting him a letter of authority from Heaven. Ali, in turn, upheld Islam through practical deeds, establishing a lasting code of action and guidance for the faithful.

The Divine Light and the Reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (a.s.)

The completion of Divine Light will manifest with the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (a.s.). That same radiant light which once illuminated the world through the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ shall once again spread across the earth. With his advent, all wars and injustices will end, for Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth (Qur’an 24:35). As Imam Ali (a.s.) foretold, “The earth will be filled with justice as it was filled with tyranny.” (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 138)

When that time arrives, the banner of justice will rise high. The darkness that engulfed humanity will be transformed into light. The earth, long burdened by oppression, will breathe again in the radiance of fairness and truth. As the Qur’an declares, “We sent the prophets with clear proofs and the Book, that mankind may uphold justice.” (Qur’an 57:25) Imam Ali (a.s.) further reminds us, “Justice is the foundation upon which the world stands.” (Nahjul Balagha, Saying 437)

By the command of Allah, Jesus (‘Isa a.s.) will also descend once more. His coming will signify the triumph of truth and mercy, binding together those who believe. The Qur’an testifies, “And there is none of the People of the Book but will believe in Jesus before his death.” (Qur’an 4:159) As Imam Ali (a.s.) said, “Truth shall prevail, though few uphold it.” (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 50)

Then shall the world once again be illuminated by the Divine Light. Darkness, deceit, and despair will vanish before its brilliance. The Qur’an promises, “They wish to extinguish the Light of Allah, but Allah will perfect His Light.” (Qur’an 61:8–9) In the words of Imam Ali (a.s.), “The lamp of faith glows in the heart of the believer.” (Nahjul Balagha, Saying 133)

When the cry of Truth resounds across the stillness of the world, time itself will seem to pause in awe. The faithful will unite in one voice, and falsehood shall collapse under the weight of truth. The Qur’an proclaims, “And say: Truth has come, and falsehood has vanished.” (Qur’an 17:81) And Imam Ali (a.s.) warns, “When the standard of truth is raised, the people of falsehood shall tremble.” (Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 182)

On that day, for every denier, a grievous moment will unfold. Those who turned away from truth will find themselves engulfed in regret, as the Divine Light shines upon the just and the faithful. The reign of deception will end, and the world will once again awaken under the eternal radiance of Divine Justice.
