زندگی حقیقت میں ہے ایک حسین فریب
Zindigi haqiqat mein hai ek haseen faraib
Life in an actuality is a beautiful illusion


اس کی الفت حقیقت کو نہیں دیتی ہے زیب
Eiski ulfat haqiqat ko nahi deti hai zaib

It love does not embellish the truth

راہ عارضی میں ہوتے ہیں عروج و نشیب
Rah arzee mein hotey hein urooj o nashaib

There are ups and downs in the temporary path

مادی جسم راہ مستقیم سے ہوتا ہیں بے عیب
Madi jism rah e mustaqeem se hota hai bayaib

The material body becomes flawless through the straight path

امد دیدہ ور سے وہ پا گئی نور نظر
Amad e deedawar se woh pa gayi noor e nazar

She was able to see the light of day

ہزاروں سال کی فرقت کے بعد نرجس کو ایا نظر
Hazaron saal ki furqat ke baad Narjis ko aya nazar 

After thousands of years of separation, Narcissus was able to see the difference

فرقت دیدہ ور میں بے نور ہوئی جو تھی منتظر 
Furqat e didawar mein benoor huyi jo thi  muntazir

She had lost her sight in separation of waiting 

ساتھ امیدوں کے کرتی رہی عاشق کا خیر ذکر
Sath omeedon ke karti rahi ashiq ka khair zikir

She used to appreciate Allah's blessings with hope
