New Year Whose happiness is this? کس کا یہ خوشحال سال

سال گزشتہ باخیر گزر جائے تو اچھا ہوتا ہے
Saal guzishta bakhair guzar jaye tow achcha hota hai
It is well done if the year passes with blessings 

 ائندہ سال کی خوشحالی کی غریب دعا کرتے ہیں
Ayinda saal ki khushion ki ghareeb dua kartey hein
The poor pray for prosperity in the coming year

سال جو ساتھ رحمت کے ادا ہوتا ہے
Saal jo sath rahmat ke ada hota hai 
The year that completes without incidents is merciful 

وہ سال  با خوبی ادا ہوتا ہے
Woh saal bakhubi ada hota hai
The year that passes by well

شکر دانا بھی اس کا ادا کرتے ہیں
Shukr Dana bhi uska ada kartey hein
The grateful ones are also thankful for it

سال گزشتہ میں سرمایہ جو لوگ لگاتے ہیں
Saal guzishta mein sarmaya (dolat) jo log lagatey hein
People who made investments in previous years

 اپنی قسمت کو یوں ازمایا کرتے ہیں
 Apni qismat yon azmaaya kartey hein
They try their luck this way in this world.

  وہی اپنی خوشیوں کا اظہار کیا کرتے ہیں
Wohi apni khushion ka izhaar kiya kartey hein
They celebrate the happiness of the coming year
