بناتے ہیں بنیاد اردو کی کے پہنچیں گے ہم اسماں

Banatey hein buniyad urdu ki ke pohchey ge asmaan 

Let's build the foundation of Urdu so we can reach the sky.

پا جائیں گے قربت ان کی جو ہیں مقام ے اسماں

Paa jaye ge qurbat unki jo hein maqaam e Asmaan 

So we will find closeness to those who are in heaven

جب پڑھیں گے مرثیہ ان کا روئے گا اسمان

Jab parehein ge marsiyah unka royega asmaan 

The sky will cry when they read their eulogy 

کریں گے مکمل ایک برج ایسا جو پہنچے گا اسمان

Karey ge mukammal ek burj Esa jo pohchega asmaan

We will complete a tower that will reach the sky

ادب سے ہوئی گفتگو ان کی جب بلندی ہوگی اسماں

Adab se hogi guftugu unki jab bulandi hogi asmaan 

Then, we will have literary conversation when we will achieve elevation to the sky

خدا راضی تو ہم غازی مل گیا زمین سے اسماں

Khuda razi tow ham ghazi mil gaya zamin se asmaan 

If God is willing, then we will be winners in connecting land to the sky

پوچھے گا جب خدا ہم سے بتا دانا دعا کیا ہے

Puhchey ga jab khuda ham se Bata Dana dua kiya hai

Then God asks us, "O prudent man, what the prayer is?"

کر منزل کو بلند اتنا سنیں جس کو اسماں    

Kar manzil ko buland eitna suney jisko  asmaan 

Raise the stories so high so that the people of heaven listen
