بندہ ے دانا A prudent man


فلک پہ آفتاب زمیں پر بندہ ےجانا ہے

Falq par Aftab zamin par banda  Jaana hai
The sun in the sky has a servant on the earth

مقصد حیات اگر ہم نے نہ جانا ہے
Maqsad e hayat agar ham ne na janaa hai
The purpose of life is if we do not know.

اس کی روشنی میں وہ ڈھونڈتا راہ ے دانا ہے
Uski roshni mein woh dhundta rah e Dana hai
Its light shows path to the prudent men 

نادان پروانے کو شب غم میں جل جانا ہے
Nadaan parwaney ko shab e gham mein jaljana hai
Ignorant moth soul has to burn in the night of grief
