یقین کی آنکہ سے  دیکھ  لیا

We will see the Truth with our Believing eyes

سنرى الحق بأعيننا المؤمنة

بٹورتے  دولت  کو گزر گی عمر  تمام

قضيت حياتي في جمع الثروة

Batortey dolat guzar gayi umar tamam

I Spent my life collecting wealth

ہوش آیا  توو  دو گز  زمیں میں پایا  آرام

عندما أيقظني الوقت ، كنت أرتاح في آخر مسكن في مقبرة

Hosh aya tow do gaz zamin mein paya araam

When the time awaken me, I was resting in the final abode of a gravesite 

زن  زر زمین اور طاقت تھی  کچھ نہیں آیا  کام

كانت النساء والثروة والأرض والسلطة ضد حقوقي

Zar zan zamin aur taqat thi kuch nahi aya kaam

Women, wealth, land, and power were turned against my rights

پہنچ منزل مقصود بعد مشقت صبح و  شام

عند وصولي إلى نهاية رحلتي بعد كاد النهار والليل

Pohchein manzil Maqsood baad mashakkat subh o sham

Upon reaching the end of my journey after toiling of day and night

اسے  پانے  کے لئے  کیا تھا اپنی زندگی  کو حرام

لتحقيق ذلك ، أضع صحتي العقلية والجسدية جانبًا

Issey paney ke liye kiya tha apni zindigi ko haram

To achieve those, I put my mental and physical health aside

اپنو کو  دور  کیا  غیروں  نے کیا  دولت کو اپنے نام

احتفظت بالأهل والأقارب بمعزل بينما استحوذ الغرباء على كبريائي

Apno ko dur kiya ghairon ne kiya dolat ko apney naam

I kept the kith and kins aloof while outsiders took possession of my pride

دانا کرتا ہے لہدی مدار پہ سلطنت بیگم کو سلام

أصلي عند قبر أمي لكي يشفع نبيها

Dana karta hai lahad (qabr) e Madar pe Saltanet Begum ko salaam

I pray at my mother’s grave for intercession by her prophet

یقین کی آنکہ سے  دیکھ  لیا قبر میں  آج اپنا مقام

عند وصولي إلى مسكني الأخير كان الواقع تحت عينيّ المؤمنين

Aqeen ki ankh se dekh liya qabr mein aaj apna maqaam

Upon arriving in my final abode the reality was under my believing eyes

• Remembering of death suppresses the inordinate desires

• It uproots the very foundation of negligence and apathy.

• With the reminding of Allah's promise, it strengthens man's heart.

• It softens the hard mentality of man.

• It demolishes the banners of inordinate desires and transgression.

• It suppresses the evil of greediness and makes the world humble before one's eyes.

 

Surah 102- At-Takathur – Abundance

 Abundance distracts you.1. 

2. Until you visit the graveyards.

3. Indeed, you will know.

4. Certainly, you will know.

5. If you knew with knowledge of certainty.

6. You would see the Inferno.

7. Then you will see it with the eye of certainty.

8. Then, on that Day, you will be questioned about the Bliss.
