A Pledge of Allegiance
“Thaar Allah" the Avenged One of Allah, is a title that carries a divine truth. It does not speak merely of vengeance in the worldly sense, but of a sacred cause. The blood of Ḥusain (AS) at Karbala was not a personal sacrifice nor a loss limited to one family; it was a testimony sealed in the name of Allah. His blood was tied to the Divine, and Allah, in His Justice, has taken upon Himself to avenge it.
This is the first pledge of humanity: allegiance to Allah for Truth over Falsehood, Justice over Oppression, and Purity over Corruption. Just as pure water never mixes with salt water, so too must the divine stream of guidance remain untainted by the impurities of Satan’s deceit.
O Allah, I seek Your mercy. Through Your prophets and chosen ones, preserve this path of truth, free from the corruption of Shayṭān, so that my sight may be purified to see rightly, my hearing refined to listen to wisdom, my heart enlightened to think justly, and my soul strengthened to reflect truthfully.
I disassociate myself, before Allah and before you, O Husain son of Ali, from those who stood against you. I send peace upon you and upon your pure souls.
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah.
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful.
Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah, Mistress of the women of the worlds.
Peace be upon you, O Avenged One of Allah, son of His Avenged One, the wronged and son of the wronged.
May Allah intensify His curse (remove His mercy) upon the first tyrant who usurped the right of Muhammad and his family.
May Allah curse those who laid the foundation of oppression and tyranny against you.
May Allah curse those who raised their hands to fight you.
May Allah curse those who prepared and supported the oppressors against you.
And may Allah curse those who heard of it and were pleased with it, distancing them from His mercy as He distanced Pharaoh, Nimrod, Abu Jahl, and the killers of prophets and messengers.

O Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O Rahmān, O Raḥīm.
Your Lordship is exalted, and Your virtue is beyond measure.
By Your justice, You shield the oppressed and remove Your mercy from the oppressors,
those who walk in the company of Satan and persist in rebellion against You.
Just as You withheld Your mercy from the people of Prophet Lūṭ,
from the deniers of Nūḥ and Ibrāhīm,
from the rejecters of Ṣāliḥ,
from those who opposed ʿĪsā, son of Maryam,
from the people of ʿĀd, and from Pharaoh who exalted himself in pride,
so too do You deal with every tyrant who defies Your command
and every heart that hardens itself against Your truth.
O Lord of Justice and Compassion, protect us from their path,
and make us among those who receive Your eternal mercy.
