بلبل کے ناله صید کیا جانے
Bulbul ke naalah sayiaad kiya janey

The cry of the nightingale a hunter does not know 

 وہ تو نادان ہے اس کو لگے یہ بے معنی
Woh tow Naadan haye usko  lage yeh be-maney

He is so ignorant that seemed meaningless to him to know.

بلبل کی ندا روداد کا کیا مقصد
Bulbul ki nida e rudad ka kiya masad

What is the purpose of the nightingale's narrative telling?

برائے صید کی  دعا کا کیا مقصد
Bar-ayee sayiyaad ki  dua ka kiya maqsad

What is the purpose of a hunter desire telling?

صید  کا خوش ہونا کتنا ہے بے مقصد
Sayiyad  ka khush hona kitana haye be-maqsad

How pointless is it to be happy about hunting?

ایک تاجر کو موسم بہار سے کیا مقصد
Ek taajir ko mosam bahar se kiya maqsad

What does a businessman mean by spring?

صدا بلبل میں درد بھرا ہے
Sada e Bulbul mein dard bhara haye 

Nightingale's voice is filled with agony.

ہر خزاں میں ایک کربلا ہے
Har khizan mein ek karbala haye 

There is a Karbala every autumn with agony.

جس کا ضمیر اگر مرا ہے
Jis ka zameer agar mara haye 
If one's conscience is dead,

وہ کیا جانے کیا کربلا ہے
Woh kiya jane kiya karbala haye 
He doesn't know what is that, Karbala?

یہ موسم کا اشارہ ہے ذهن انسانی کو ہے سمجھنا
Yah mosam ka isharah haye zahan insani ko haye samajhna
This is an indication of the nature that a human mind has to understand.

بلبل کے تجرب بیانی کو ہے سمجھنا
Builbul ke tajrube biyani ko haye samajhna

The story of the nightingale must be understood.

چمن کا اجڑنا اور چمن کا سبز ہونا
Chaman ka ujarna aur chaman ka sabaz hona
The destruction of gardens and and blooming of the garden it must be happened 

یہ قدرت کی منشا اس فرض کا ہونا
Yeh qudarat ki mansha eis farz ka hona

This is the intention of nature for this duty it must be happened .

دانا  ہے وہ جو سمجھے یہ دنیا ہے ہرجائی

Dana  haye woh jo samjhay yah duniya haye harjai

He is a wise one who understands that this world is unfaithful.

نہ تیری ہے نہ میری جو ائی ہے وہ جائی
Na teri haye na meri jo ayi haye woh jayi

What comes is neither yours nor mine, what goes is gone.
