پیمانہ علم ہے تجلی نور کو برداشت کرنا
Pemana ilm haye tajali noor ko bardasht karna

The measure of knowledge is to endure the manifestation of light.

علم کا وسعت ہے جو روشن کرے مجھ کو
Ilm ka wusat haye jo roshan kare mujhko

There is a vastness of knowledge that enlightens me.

نابینا کر دیا شمس کی روشنی نے مجھ کو
Naabina kar diya shams ki roshani ne mujh ko

The intensity of sunlight intensity has blinded me.

بے ہوش موسی ہوئے تو کیا تعجب ہے مجھ کو
Behosh Musa huvay tow kiya taajub haye mujh ko

Why am I surprised that Moses was fainted?

قوت تجلی کو دکھا کے بچا لیا موسی کو
Quwat tajali ko dikha ke bacha liya Musa ko

Moses was saved by showing the power of revelation.

معراج ہوئی نور کو نور سے تو کیا تعجب ہے مجھ کو
Miraj hoi noor ko noor se tow kiya taajub haye mujh ko

The light has ascended to the heavens, so what wonder is there in me?
