وللہ ہندی کا یہ اثر کہ مسلمان کا ہوگا انتم سنسکار

Wallah hindi ka yeh asar ke musalmano ka ho ga antim sanskar

اب دفن اور کفن کون کیا جانیں یہ رہا پرانا کاروبار

جب مردہ ہوگا کھڑا چتا سے تو پڑے گی  اس کو لاٹھیوں کی مار

Jab murda ho ga khara chita se tow pari gi usko laathiyon ki maar

When the dead person is stand up from the pyre, he will be beaten with sticks 

ہندی میں ہوگا بیان ہونگے اب میر انیس اور دبیر غمخار

Hindi mein hoga Bayan hongey ab Meer Anees aur Dabeer ghamkhar

Mir Anees and Debir Ghamkhar will be saddened to learn that Hindi took over the adab 

ایک انگلی پر  لے گیا پربت کو بجرنگ کون جانے کون تھا علمدار

Ek ugli pe le gaya parbat ko Bajrang kon janey kon tha  alamdar

Bajrang took Parbat on one finger, who knew who will know who Alamdar was 

جو ڈھونڈتے ہیں سکون بیداری میں دانا وہ قوم نہیں ہے بے دار

Jo dundh te hein suknoon bedari mein Dana woh qom nahi hai bedaar

Those who seek peace in awakening are nations do not awaken 

غافل ہو گیا مرد حقیقت سے ماں کو کوئی نہیں ہے سرکار

Ghafil ho gaye mard haqiqat se maa ko koi nahi hai sarokar

Father has become oblivious to the fact and mother has no interest over it 

چھ سو سال میں نہ ختم ہو پائی ہندی وہ ہے دانا کی زبان یار

Cheh so saal mein na khatam ho payi Hindi woh hai Dana ki zaban e yaar

Hindi, which is the language of wisdom, has not died out in six hundred years 

بعد ازاں دی قید ہو کے اپنے وطن میں کیا قائد اعظم نے اس کو گلزار

Baad azadi qaid ho ke apney watan mein kiya qaid e azam ne usko gulzar

After freedom, it became imprisoned inland, but Quaid-i-Azam made it  Gulzar in his homeland

دانا سر کے بال کو نوچے  پر کام نہ کرے اس کے چنگال

Dana Sar ke bal ko nochey par kaam na karey uskey chungaal

Dana desperately pulls his scalp hairs but cannot grab

کیوں کے کیا ہے فیصلہ چنو کوئی جانور بطور خالق جو کہے چوپال

Kuin ke kiya hai faeysala Chun koi janwar bator e khaliq jo kahey chopal

Why don't you pick an animal as the creator, which is decided in a meeting of prudent people?
