رِزْق بنام طاعم Rizq banaam Taam

رِزْق بنام طاعم کھا کے روز ختم کرتے ہیں
Rizq banaam taam khakey roz khatam kartey hein
 The day ends with assigned  sustenance by consuming the food 

عشق جسم فانی میں مجنون عمر کو کم کرتے ہیں
Ishq jism fani mein majnoon ummar ko Kam kartey hein
In love with the mortal body, Majnun shortens his life

دا نا مَدّاح الہی میں زندگی کو دم کرتے ہیں
Dana Maddah e Illahi mein zindigi ko dam kartey hein
Prudent man in praise of the Lord esteems his life with it

نادان انسان تو مختلف راستے   کو ظلم کرتے ہیں
Nadaan insan tow mukhtalif raston ko zam kartey hein 
Naive people merge two opposite paths 

زندگی اول بمثال ایک تر لقمہ اطعم

Zindigi awal bamisal ek tar luqma e Taam
Life is like one morsel of tasty bite

بقا ہے صرف آخرت میں یہ تو ہو گئی ایک دن تمام
Baqa hai sirf akhirat mein yeh tow hogi ek din tamam

The survival  is only the hereafter, it will happen in one day

بھرے بھگتان جسم جب اس کو ملے مزے کا طعام
Bharey bhugtaan jism jab eisko Miley mazay ka taam
A body pay the price for having delicious food.

ہوگئے مجروح زبان سے یار جب  ہوجائے بے لگام
  Ho gaye majruh Zaban se yaar jab ho jaye yeh belagaam 
the friends are injured by tongue when it is unrestrained

کرے یہ ایسا زخمی  چھپن چھری سے بھی برا انجام
Karey yeh aisa zakhami chappan churi se bhi bura anjaam
It does it worse than fifty-six knives injuries 

جب یہ چلے بےقابو ہو کے نہ دیکھے موقع نہ مقام
Jab yeh chaley beqaabu ho key na dekha moqa na maqaam
 When it runs  uncontrollable, do not see the proper time or place

درمیانی راستہ کہتے ہیں دانا ہوتا ہے سب سے اچھا بامقام
Darmiyani rasta kehtein hein Dana hota hai sab se achcha bamaqaam
The middle path is said to be the best and respectful 

نہ کسی کو شکوہ نہ نہ کرے احتجاج نہیں ہوتا ہے کوئی بدکلام
   Na kisi ko shikwa na karey ahtajaj nahi hota hai koi badkalaam  
Neither complains, nor protest, No one uses Bad language
